Men prefer smooth women Women in Central Jutland have markedly different preferences for intimate shaving than women in the capital
INTIMATE How is ripe for intimate shaving, and what do Danish women and men actually prefer? Questions that can be difficult to answer, as intimate shaving is inherently an intimate and private matter. Nevertheless, a new Megafon study for the shaving company Shavesafe reveals the Danes' preferences in this area. In short, the study shows that Danish men prefer a shaved female, while Danish women themselves prefer to make use of trimming the pubic hair. At the same time, Danish women prefer a male with trimmed pubic hair, while the males themselves prefer not to make use of intimate shaving. With others, Danish women and men's preferences fit together rather poorly in this area.
Large regional differences
What is at least as interesting are a number of large regional differences in relation to preferences. Thus, the study shows that although women in Central Jutland prefer trimming pubic hair, at the same time they are significantly more in favour of shaving than women from the capital. Thus, 21 percent of the women surveyed in Central Jutland say that they prefer the completely smooth look. The same is true only for 6 percent of Copenhagen women who prefer this solution. - As with so much else, this is a fad that changes over time. Shaved has been popular with women for many years, and now we are starting to see a backlash. It is very normal for this kind of thing to originate from Copenhagen and slowly propagate into the population. At the same time, we can see from the study that men in Central Jutland are somewhat more responsive to the wishes of women in this area than in all other parts of the country, says Nana Rytter Nielsen, Director of Shavesafe. In this connection, she points out that central Jutland men prefer to make use of trimming themselves, which is in fine harmony with the wishes of the middle Jutland women for a male partner's intimate shaving. In all other parts of Denmark, according to the study, Danish men prefer the natural look, despite the fact that women generally want trimming the man's pubic hair.
